ABOUT SARDS

SARDS (Social Action for Rural Development Society) is a not-for-profit, child-focused humanitarian organization founded in 1986 by a group of development professionals to address the evolving challenges facing rural, tribal, and urban communities across India. With a commitment to fostering sustainable change, SARDS envisions a just and inclusive society where every child and family has equitable access to opportunities and resources, aligning its efforts with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Working across all districts in Andhra Pradesh and Jogulamba Gadwal district in Telangana State, SARDS is dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized groups, particularly children, women, and vulnerable populations. The organization prioritizes social equity, economic opportunity, and environmental sustainability as essential pillars of its mission. By enhancing access to quality education, healthcare, and livelihood resources, SARDS empowers communities to overcome poverty, inequality, and social exclusion.

Driven by a deep respect for human dignity, SARDS works to create lasting transformation that strengthens community resilience and fosters a collective sense of well-being. Through programs that target the root causes of socio-economic challenges, SARDS builds the foundations of a thriving, inclusive society where individuals are equipped to make positive contributions, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
